A properly feathered Velociraptor gives chase to unseen prey. I posed this illustration to match a cast of Velociraptor I recently mounted for the Wyoming Dinosaur Center.

In our museum it's persuing a Protoceratops (along with a partner), but in the illustration it's up to you. At some point I'll go back and do a background, but for now there are skeletal reconstructions to do...

I like the feather colour on this one. The thing that bother's me with the other drawings of velociraptors is that they make the feathers too colourful, which doesn't work in the desert environment they live in. Your would actually blend in well!
